You should allow several hours for the round-trip excursion, including time to explore the site. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended. Comfortable walking shoes are essential.

Alternatively, a horseback riding option is available up to the cafeteria. From the cafeteria, you will need to walk to the monastery and then walk back to the point where the hike ends.
